Purpose
This document defines the structure of Gophee's membership program, covering tier requirements, XP rules, mission classifications, and member benefits to build a motivating, gamified system that keeps members engaged with cultural experiences.

XP expiration policy
To encourage ongoing participation, XP points and membership levels follow a rolling 12-month activity window.
1. XP expiration rule
- If no XP is earned for 12 consecutive months (no experiences, missions, or purchases), the full XP balance expires at the end of month 12.
- Any XP earned within the 12-month window keeps the entire balance active with no expiration.
2. Membership level reset rule
- If there is no XP activity for 12 consecutive months, the membership level resets to Green Gopher at the end of month 12.
- Any XP activity during the period keeps the current level active with no downgrade.
Members can check their XP balance and membership level anytime in the account dashboard.
XP usage and rules
Redeem XP toward bookings at 35 XP = 1 USD.
XP can cover up to 50% of an order total.
XP is issued within 48 hours after the experience is completed.
Mission completion is verified by the host, and Gophee resolves any disputes.
